Oxford Lieder: George Butterworth

George Butterworth, best known for his settings of A.E. Housman’s A Shropshire Lad, was an alumnus of Trinity College. In the College’s new building, Kate Kennedy examines his life and songs, illustrated by Oxford Lieder Young Artists, and complemented by a small exhibition of letters and photos from the College’s archive.
